"Amateur Hour" is a Traffic street crime case in L.A. Noire.

LAPD Detectives Cole Phelps and Stefan Bekowsky will recieve a KGPL message that reports a 459 burglary-in-progress with possible suspects inside at Sillman's Jewelry Store, 829 South Olive.

Dispatch Call Script

Dispatch: Any central unit, any central unit, a 459 with possible suspects inside at 829 Olive Street. Unit to handle, Code Two, identify.

Cole Phelps: This is 11K, we'll handle the 459.

Dispatch: Roger 11K, your 459 is at 829 Olive Street at Sillman's Jewelry Store. 11K, Code Two.

Stefan Bekowsky: Why not? You got a good track record with jewelry stores.

After being called to the scene, Cole Phelps finds a group of thieves that has broken into a jewelry store by punching a hole in the back wall. While the gang's leader, Higgins, and another member stand watch, Walker attempts to break open the safety boxes while Higgins' girlfriend, Audrey watches over him. Phelps and Stefan Bekowsky call out for them to surrender, but instead Higgins, Walker, and the other gang member run into the front of the store. Audrey instantly surrenders.

Bekowsky watches Audrey while Phelps moves into the store. In the front room, behind the main counter, Higgins has taken cover and must be killed. After Higgins is dead, Phelps must move upstairs and take out Walker and the other gang member. After they are dead, Phelps must go back to Bekowsky, who has been knocked down by Audrey, and then give chase to the fleeing criminal. Audrey gets into her car, but crashes a short distance away and is arrested.

  • When Higgins calls out to his gang, he identifies them as Jake and Morty. Therefore, Walker's and the unnamed gang member's first names are either Jake or Morty.
  • This is the only case in which killing a female suspect is possible (if you fire at the vehicle). However, the case will be failed if Audrey is killed when trying to escape.
