Bittleston is a character in L.A. Noire. He appears as a victim in the vice case "Manifest Destiny".

Biography

Background

Bittleston played in a four piece band with Bowe, Cornell Tyree and Tyrone Lamont. Their band was comprised by musical agent Jermaine Jones. Bittleston played the trumpet. The band played in The Blue Room, sometimes accompanying Elsa Lichtmann. However, Bittleston, and the rest of the band members were drug addicts. Bittleston and Bowe brought morphine from Eddie McGoldrick, a former marine involved in the SS Coolridge heist. After Eddie brought the 111 Club, Bittleston and Bowe later moved to play at the club, maintaining a close business relations. Bittleston even had a custom trumpet case, designed to stash some of his morphine.

Events of L.A. Noire

However, Eddie was involved in a feud with the Cohen Crime Syndicate. Because Eddie didn't keep a low profile, he inadvertently made himself an easy target. Mickey Cohen sent hitmen to kill Eddie at the club. Bittleston and Bowe where killed in the crossfire along with Eddie. Detectives Cole Phelps, Roy Earle, Stefan Bekowsky, and Rusty Galloway all responded to Bowe, Bittleston, and Eddie's deaths.
