- "Carry extra ammo, for all weapons, just in case."
- ―In-game description
The outfit provides the player with extra ammo for shotguns, rifles and submachine gun, pistols won't be affected since they already have infinite ammunition
It looks similar to the Sunset Strip outfit, except with dark gray pants and a nearly white suit coat.
The outfit can only be unlocked after completing The Badge Pursuit Challenge.
It is an exclusive through EB Games/Gamestop in the United States, Canada and Australia. In the United Kingdom it's available through GAME.co.uk. This pre-order bonus also comes with The Naked City case.
The Badge Pursuit Challenge is now available in the L.A. Noire-in game store in Xbox 360, or in the PlayStation Store in PS3. It is also available in the "Complete Edition" of the game.
- The term "Button Man" is slang spoken by the Italian-American mob, to refer to a "hitman". Someone who pushes his targets "button". To become a made member, these "made members" usually had to perform at least one murder. To get this suit, Cole Phelps had to perform a task, namely: Getting 20 police badges from all over the city which could be considered as an initiation task.
- The suit the player wears is known as a 'Hollywood' jacket.
- This suit is very similar to the one worn by Roy Earle at Phelps' funeral.
