Phelps and Biggs arrive at the Boos Brothers cafeteria where a man had just been shot. He dies just as the detectives arrive. Phelps hears voices coming from the back and sees the criminals with the remaining staff. One of them is threatening to shoot the owner if he doesn't agree to give them the money. Phelps shoots and kills the man. Cole rushes to the back to take out the remaining robbers. The two there take cover behind the neighboring buildings while a third gunner comes up in his truck and ducks behind it. Phelps take out the first two, and the third comes at the detectives still shooting. He is killed as well.
- The name of the Cafe is "Boos Brothers Cafe," a possible reference to the 1980 movie Blues Brothers.
- If the attackers are not fired upon within five seconds, the hostage will be killed and the mission will be failed.
- This street crime is a good opportunity, if not completed yet, to use the BAR one of the gunman are using.
