- ―Diego Aguilar
Antonia Maldonado petitioned for a Superior Court's case for a divorce from her husband and later received a letter from her attorney informing her of her date of appeal. Soon after, Antonia received divorce papers and with them was finally able to separate from her husband, on the grounds of him being a cruel husband. While drinking at the El Dorado Bar, Antonia became extremely drunk and publicly ranted her intention to divorce her husband. She left the bar but accidentally left the divorce papers behind, though the bartender held onto them for safe keeping.
