Biography[]

Background[]

Nicholson has been the owner and proprietor of Nicholson Electroplating Plant since 1915. A keen and calculated businessman, Nicholson recruited Harold McLellan as chief chemist, who also proposed a formula to chemically polish aluminum. The process was revolutionary and would give Nicholson a considerable competitive business edge. Unfortunately, McLellan personally attempted to sell the formula himself to Hughes Aircraft through Vernon Mapes, while cutting out Nicholson.

Events of L.A. Noire[]

Unfortunately, McLellan's process was actually dangerously unsafe and caused a massive explosion during a test, due to a reaction with linseed oil. Nicholson returned to the ruined plant and was questioned by Detective Cole Phelps for leads. A victim of subterfuge, Nicholson's business was effectively ruined.
