The Black Caesar Food Hut is a location in L.A. Noire. It is located on Ivar Avenue opposite the apartment block where Tyrone Lamont and Cornell Tyree lived before their deaths.

Events of L.A. Noire[]

The Black Caesar Food Hut is used as a location in order to distribute the U.S. Army surplus morphine, that is stolen from the SS Coolridge, by Courtney Sheldon and a group of U.S. Marines, and is being distributed by Mickey Cohen, Lenny Finkelstein, and other associates of the Cohen Crime Syndicate. Fleetwood Morgan, the fry cook at the stand, is part of the morphine's distribution process. Morgan receives a daily allocation of morphine from supplier Jermaine Jones. Morgan straps the morphine syrettes to the bottom of popcorn cups. Two of the Hut's prominent 'customers' are junkies Tyrone Lamont and Cornell Tyree, who receive the morphine from Morgan in this manner.

After Tyree and Lamont overdose and die, detectives Cole Phelps and Roy Earle are sent to investigate their deaths in the case, "The Black Caesar". Once they arrive at their apartment and they discover how the morphine is being distributed, Phelps and Earle confront Morgan. Morgan attempts to run, but is apprehended by Phelps. The detectives find large amounts of the morphine in the food preparation area. Morgan offers up Jermaine Jones as his supplier, and is arrested for drug trafficking.
