Antonia Isabel Maldonado is a character in L.A. Noire. She is the murder victim in the Homicide case The Silk Stocking Murder.

Background[]
Antonia married Angel Maldonado in 1943. Antonia was a devout Roman Catholic, she wore a pendant of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" and her husband gave her a religious charm bracelet. Angel soon turned out to be a very cruel husband, which drove Antonia to alcoholism. Antonia left the couple's apartment and decided to keep her charm bracelet locked up in wooden jewelry box. A Latino Macho, Angel was also somewhat abusive, controlling and jealous, as he was prone to violent outbursts towards other men who took interest in Antonia, such as Clem Feeney.
Antonia moved into Barbara Lapenti's boarding house and eventually obtained a court decree for a divorce. After a night of heavy drinking at the El Dorado Bar, she was given a ride from the temp bartender and confronted Angel. She angrily told him in a drunken rage of her intention to divorce him. After a fight, she stormed off and got into the bartender's car. She was then abducted and murdered by the Black Dahlia killer, and her body was left in an alleyway near city hall.
Events of L.A. Noire[]
Detectives Cole Phelps and Rusty Galloway investigated her murder. They found a trail of her blood leading them around the alley, and pick up a trail of personal items scattered around by the killer. Angel became a strong suspect in the case. However Clem was arrested. Eventually, it is revealed that Garrett Mason was the true killer, the temp bartender who served and drove her.

- Her death is most likely based off the real life death of Rosenda Mondragon, whose naked body was found strangled by a stocking.
- She is the only murder victim to be Hispanic.
