Hartfield's Jewelry Store is a location in L.A. Noire. It is noted as a jewelry store owned by Edgar Kalou in the Buyer Beware patrol case.

Layout[]

The store itself is situated on an open part of the city, allowing for easy viewing by passerby. The inside is nice and quaint, nothing spectacularly huge and contains several cases filled with jewelry. Behind the counter, there is a hallway that leads into a massive garage which may be considered a receiving area.

Events of L.A. Noire[]

In the related case, Officer Cole Phelps discovers Everett Gage dead on the sidewalk in front of his own store, Nunn Bush Shoes, and learns the identity of Edgar Kalou from the store clerk Clovis Galletta, or if Cole upsets Galletta, the clerk a Eagleson's Gun Store. He and Officer Ralph Dunn then race to Hartfield's to locate their suspect. Upon entering, they're greeted by Kalou who at first fakes to be someone else entirely by claiming that Edgar is in the back of the store, and attempts an escape, to which Phelps chases him out the back and the store room, eventually cornering him between two crashed cars.

Hartfield's Jewelry is also where the wedding ring of homicide victim Deidre Moller was made. This was stated by the pawnbroker.

Notes[]

  • The store can be visited in the The Streets of L.A. (Free Roam). However, you can only enter from the back door, the front door is locked, suggesting it's been shutdown following Edgar Kalou's arrest.
