James Mitchell is a Character in L.A. Noire. He is an officer of the Los Angeles Police Department, currently assigned to the Patrol division.
Biography[]
Events in L.A. Noire[]
He is first encountered during Gangfight, in which he provides Cole Phelps and Stefan Bekowsky support during a shootout with two Mexican-American gangs. Mitchell remarks that he's familiar enough with the behavior of the gangs to sense that they were about to start shooting at each other and summoned backup just in time to prevent the possible death of civilians.
He is also seen during Commies as one of the responding officers, giving Phelps and Roy Earle some basic information about the robbers and backing them up as they foil the robbery.
In the main story, he makes an appearance as the officer who finds Courtney Sheldon's corpse and calls it in.
Trivia[]
- Mitchell can be "killed" during Gangfight. If this happens, then he will inform the player during Commies that he was only wounded during the shootout and made a full recovery.
