"Go to hell, placa! No way I'm going down without a fight!"
―Julian Marino

Julian Marino is a Character featured in L.A. Noire. He is found during the side-mission "Running Battle", in which he is engaged in a shootout with a patrol officer after the officer arrives to interrupt the robbery. He is hiding inside Mallory's Cafe when Cole Phelps and Rusty Galloway arrive. Upon their arrival, Marino shoots and kills the patrol officer and flees, forcing Phelps to pursue him. If Phelps can get a clear line of sight, and fires a Warning Shot it is possible to arrest Marino. However, due to the twists and turns throughout the chase, it usually ends with a shootout between Phelps and Marino, which in turn results in Marino's death, unless Marino gets disarmed, in which case he is arrested for robbery and capital murder. Although he was arrested, it was likely Marino was denied bail, convicted, and sent to the gas chamber, as killing a police officer was a capital offense.
