- "The thing looked like it had never been fired, but he brought it here for a cleaning anyway. Then he bought a box of cartridges and he left."

Events of L.A. Noire
Kalou's gun was an FN Browning 1922 handgun. The serial number of the gun is 01138. Kalou had the weapon cleaned at Eagleson's Gun Store on East Fifth Street and bought .32 caliber rounds with the intent to murder Everett Gage. After a heated fight with Gage, Kalou followed Gage back to his shoe store and fired five rounds into Gage's back, killing him. Kalou discarded the gun in a nearby trash bin, hoping no one would find it, and fled the scene.
While investigating the murder, Officer Cole Phelps found the gun in the trash bin. Phelps and Dunn visited the local gun store, where the clerk verified that the gun belonged to Kalou and was recently serviced. With this as solid evidence, Phelps proceeded to arrest and charge Kalou for the murder of Gage.
