Las Vegas refers to the Las Vegas Strip, a popular gambling locale and the city that bears it's name in Clark County, Nevada. Las Vegas is mentioned numerous times throughout L.A. Noire, most notably in the Traffic case, The Fallen Idol, as it is where local mobster Guy McAfee is based. At the time of L.A. Noire, the city of Las Vegas had a population of around 20,000, while Clark County had a population of around 45,000. The strip at this time had only a few casinos and the more recent Flamingo (the work of Bugsy Siegel) was the largest and most popular at the time bringing in stars such as Martin and Lewis and Jimmy Durante
