Mallory's Cafe is a location in L.A. Noire. It is the primary location for the side-mission "Running Batte", in which a criminal, Julian Marino, has taken cover inside the Cafe during a shootout with police. When Cole Phelps and Rusty Galloway arrive, Marino kills an officer and flees, forcing Phelps to pursue him. The chase can end in Marino's capture or death. The cafe is located at 391 S. Broadway in Downtown, Los Angeles. The location is also featured in the Traffic case "The Fallen Idol", June Ballard uses the phone in the cafe to ring her husband Guy McAfee. Cole Phelps listens in on her conversation from behind a newspaper learning that McAfee has sent some men to hunt down Mark Bishop at his apartment.
