The Purse is a piece of evidence in L.A. Noire, it is featured in "The White Shoe Slaying" case.

Events of L.A. Noire

The purse was a small green change purse belonging to Theresa Taraldsen, with the initials "T.T". While out one night drinking, Theresa got off a bus near a hobo camp where she was later stalked and brutally murdered by the Black Dahlia killer. The killer took Theresa's purse along with the rope used to murder her and placed them in Stuart Ackerman's lean-to, successfully framing him.

While investigating the murder, Detectives Cole Phelps and Rusty Galloway followed a lead at the hobo camp and discovered the purse and blood stained rope in Ackerman's lean-to. Inside her purse was Theresa's ticket to the Crystal Ballroom on the night of her murder. Ackerman was arrested and with the purse as evidence was charged for Theresa's murder.
