Santa Cruz is a small city in the U.S. State of California. Although not shown in L.A. Noire, Santa Cruz is mentioned at the end in the Arson and final case of the game, A Different Kind of War, as the city where one of the 6th Marines had a job as a city bus driver prior to World War II. Santa Cruz is the largest city in Santa Cruz County and had a population of approximately 20,000 at the time of the game.
