The Broadway

The Broadway-Hollywood is a department store in Los Angeles. In the "Naked City" trailer, Phelps can be seen having a fire fight on the roof of this building.

The building is located on the south-west corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood.

Trivia

The Broadway was a real-life mid-level department store chain headquartered in Los Angeles, in existence from 1896 to 1996, when the chain was acquired by Federated Department Stores and converted into Macy's. The Broadway's Hollywood store, however, closed in the early 1980s and its operations were moved to the newly-opened Beverly Center in 1982. The Broadway Hollywood building and its landmark neon sign still serve as a Hollywood landmark to the present day, with the building now housing loft apartments.
