Tomoko Okamoto is a character in L.A. Noire. She is a person of interest in the DLC case "Nicholson Electroplating".


Biography

Background

Tomoko Okamoto worked at the Nicholson Electroplating Plant as Harold McLellan's research assistant, who was developing a new chemical process to polish aluminum. However, Okamoto was actually an industrial spy working for Lockheed, one of the competitors for the new process and worked alongside another unnamed Lockheed employee. She learned of McLellan's decision to sell the process to Howard Hughes hence used a portable spy camera to take pictures of the aluminum polishing patent, as well pictures of several people of interest.

Events of L.A. Noire

Unfortunately, while testing the new process at Nicholson Electroplating with McLellan, a massive explosion occurred and Okamoto was killed instantly along with McLellan in the blast. Okamoto's accomplice was also murdered by Vernon Mapes, unfortunately both of them died before they could successfully steal the formula for Lockheed.
