She was the housemaid of the apartment building at 5810 Mirada Avenue (located directly east of the Cadillac Town Car garage), and was also friends with one the residents, Julia Randall. Virginia was privy and observant of Julia's personal life, such as her work as a model, her expensive lifestyle and her relationship with the elusive "Mr. Henderson". Virginia was also aware of the fact that Julia was taking sleeping pills and Benzedrine, was severely stressed, depressed and prone to disturbing mood swings. As a result, Virginia was very concerned for Julia.
Events of L.A. Noire
Virgina made an appearance as the reporting witness in "Masked Gunman", directing Detectives Cole Phelps and Stefan Bekowsky to the armed assailant. She later discovered Julia's dead body in the bathroom of her apartment, apparently drowned to death by suicide. She reported to the LAPD and was questioned by Detectives Phelps and Roy Earle for background information on Julia. Although reluctant to reveal personal details in order to protect Julia's privacy and memory, Phelps was able to coerce Virginia into talking.
- Since the case "The Naked City" is based on a film of the same name, her character is based off the housekeeper Martha Swenson, played by Virginia Mullen.
